Overview

MiFi wireless broadband router is a new advanced product option to get connected to mobile broadband network. MiFi device combines in the same tiny box a 3G cellular broadband modem, and personal-range WiFi access point. Now you do not even have to plug your mobile broadband modem into your computer.

The Novatel MiFi 2200 Personal HotSpot for Sprint connects your laptop to the Sprint mobile broadband EvDO RevA data network with peak download speeds of up to 3.1 Mbp/s and upload speeds for up to 1.8 Mbp/s. Then it creates an instant personal WiFi HotSpot, which allows to connect up to five WiFi devices – Computers, gaming consoles, digital photo frames – in a 30ft (10 meter) radius.

Main advantage is that you don’t have to plug anything in your pc anymore, reusing your default WiFi mode instead. Sharing the connection means that you easily can connect your whole family using only one cellular data connection.

MiFi is your own cloud of connectivity: you can easily share your high-speed mobile connection with friends, family members and coworkers. It’s great for both personal and business use providing instant access to email, downloading large files, and surfing the web with your laptop while simultaneously allowing up to five computers or personal devices to be connected.

MiFi 2200 for Sprint is bundled with the connection management software, which automatically installs and connects to the best available mobile network cell or sector for the selected mode. The on-board power and service status LED indicators display battery and connection information.

The MiFi router can be powered from any electrical outlet via the included wall charger. With moderate WiFi use it lasts for up to 4 Hours of continual usage on a single charge. When the charge is low, the MiFi could be powered from a computer via included USB cable.

The best thing about the MiFi 2200 is its size: it is small enough to fit in a pocket. It can stay in your bag, and still connect your laptop to mobile internet completely without wires or USBV sticks sticking awkwardly out of your pc. Still, it is a powerful, portable solution for any serious connection to mobile internet while on the go for multiple devices.
